It’s been a busy week of trade shows for us, both at Mobile Network Performance Management at the Kensington Close Hotel in London, and TM Forum Live, at the Acropolis Convention Centre in Nice.
Chris Mathews, Mark Slinger and Rene Tonon were onsite in Nice to discuss big data and demo the Zen family of tools, showing how Zen can consolidate many systems in to one real-time big data platform to address fault and performance needs.
In London at Mobile Network Performance Management, Andy Stubley, Head of Strategy, presented “The Zen of Consolidated Network Performance Management”, citing the big data elements common between social gaming and mobile networks – namely those of volume and automation.
Andy also presented a mobile telco case study to demonstrate how Zen handled over 95 billion counters a day using real-time processing with data latency of less than 7 seconds. The project used 10 radio technologies and three generations, as well as two small cell technologies over 40 network interfaces.
Andy’s full presentation can be found here on Slideshare.
