On Thursday, November 13th, at 16:15, we’ll be presenting “Measuring Customer Experience through Effective RAN Management.” SysMech’s René Tonon will discuss how combining new technologies can help operators measure customer experience.
Tonon will be looking at the monitoring of networks and services from a different angle, examining the new opportunities to improve operations that operators could only dream of six years ago.
According to Tonon: “Collecting lots of data from the network is great, but it’s not helpful without good use cases, availability of the data in real time (and in a meaningful form), and automation.”
He’ll also be addressing the 5 Vs: Variety, Velocity, Veracity, Volume, Value as well as:
• Combining resources faults and performance measurements to improve the time to repair
• Identification of specific customer issues using call trace and performance measurements
• Automation of remedial actions
• Predictive analytics to improve customer experience
The Broadband Traffic Management Event and the Telco Big Data Summit are co-located at the Hotel Fira Palace, Barcelona, and take place today and tomorrow.
If you’re attending and would like to discuss your big data and network management requirements, get in touch and we’ll arrange a time to meet at the show, or stop by to see us on stand number 8.
So far we’ve been following talks from Telefonica (Richard Benjamin) and Susan Wenger of T-Mobile regarding the Big Data use cases; around improving internal processes and about monetising data through targeted marketing. Follow all our updates from Barcelona on Twitter – we’ll be using the #BBTM hashtag.
