SysMech & Cornastone partner to grow network management & CEM solutions opportunity in South Africa

South African IT solution provider Cornastone has partnered with SysMech to support the development and management of IT and communications infrastructure in the region. The deal will see Cornastone resell SysMech network management and optimisation solutions.

UK-based SysMech offers award-winning software, which enables CSPs and network managers to gain actionable insights from big data, and is currently used by tier 1 operators across Europe and the Middle East. The partnership with Cornastone marks the company’s first partnership in the African market, as it continues to grow its client base world-wide.

SysMech will provide a high level of technical expertise and support services to the rapidly-growing sub-Saharan market, providing tools critical both to network service providers and to companies outsourcing their own networks.

Mr Ansu Sooful, Managing Director at Cornastone SA commented: “With the rapid growth of IT and communications networks, there is a massive opportunity for SysMech’s expertise in the region. Its Zen software supplies major network providers with real-time fault analysis and service optimisation as they struggle with the ever-increasing network loads generated by smart phones. We are delighted to be partnering at this time.”

Mike Day, of SysMech South Africa said: “This is an exciting time for SysMech, as we expand our reach into the South African market. With the investment in the Cape Town fibre network, and the other key relationships with telecoms companies Cornastone has in place, we are confident the relationship will offer customers a lot of value in the region.”

SysMech’s Zen software provides a unified and scalable service assurance solution, correlating network performance with customer experience and network faults.

The company is currently in discussions with a number of large MNOs in sub-Saharan Africa, as it continues in its plans for further expansion into the region.
